To elaborate on Joe's previous message NOT to create your DL accounts there yet, I will explain why.

Years ago, I did the exact same thing I am about to detail. To make the process of this transition much easier on our members, this is what is going to happen: when you create your DL account on FK, all of your in-character posts on this forum will be intact, and will still be able to be looked up from your profile, and you should retain the ability to edit posts, too.

Now, you may be wondering... how is this possible?

Rather than having all of us shuffle about like goobers to get this done, Joe, Heffy, and myself are dividing you members among us. We will create accounts on FK for each of your characters, copy/paste your posts from here to there, then delete said accounts. Now, when you do re-make your account over there, if you have the exact same account/sign-in name, every single post made from it will be applied to your accounts.

Emphasis:

You MUST create your account there with the same name used to transfer the posts. For example, an account for maskedmallard will be made to transfer all of Masked Mallard's posts. If Nicole signs up with a name other than maskedmallard as the login, this will not work; the maskedmallard posts will not be applied by the forum to her account. For that reason, we will be posting here on DL the exact sign-in name which needs to be used when creating your account. Bear in mind, this has nothing at all to do with your display name.

Someone will make an announcement when to create your accounts on FK.

Here is a list of how the accounts will be divided. Heffy and Joe, be sure and make the FK DL account with the login name exactly as specified. Members, when you re-create your accounts on FK, also use the same login. Otherwise what we're doing won't work as planned. Only create your accounts over there when given the green light to do so! Thanks!

What to transfer: IC posts, profiles (including Event Log/Relationships]

What to leave behind: OOC posts

What to be aware of: Characters with no distinction between a true counterpart and a Dream League persona name (IE; Quackerjack, who is Quackerjack both on DL and in canon) should have 'dl' at the end of their login name to differentiate them. Hotlinks (such as in Event Logs) will need to be changed to reflect their new FK counterpart.

It was a labor of love, to be sure, but Joe, Heffy, and I have moved every last in-character post over to Fantasmic Kingdom.

You may now start re-creating your accounts over there. Remember to make the login for each of your characters EXACTLY as it is listed within the brackets above. If you do not, the posts for your character will not be applied to your account. If you follow this simple task then it will be as though nothing has changed: your post count will be reset to 0, but we will fix that as members join.

We may all resume posting there just as we did here. The only thing you have to do is wait for your account to be approved, then set to a DL account. When logged into a DL account you will ONLY see DL categories/boards, and vice-versa. So, aside from some slight visual differences, it will be as though nothing changed (you can even change your skin to this theme, or others).
