Rated PG-13
Characters may engage in flirtatious and/or romantic situations as long as it's believable. No explicitly detailed adult content is allowed. Characters may not swear unless it's a confirmed characteristic. But even if a character is known for saying minor swear words (such as “crap,” “damn,” and “hell”), strong adult language is strictly prohibited. Violence and blood are moderate, without too much vivid detail.
Rules
.) Act in-character. Even though the majority of Disney characters here will have superpowers and have origins that may contradict their original media, the characters should nevertheless act with the personalities they traditionally have. For example, Duck Avenger (Donald Duck) is still temperamental; Dreamchild (Alice) is still curious; She-Wolf (San) is still antisocial and moody, etc. Only in the non-canon category may your characters act differently.
.) Do not use any actor/actress as a 'face model' of any kind for your character. Your character must be as he or she appears. The character may be altered to fit their alias, but under no circumstance may you use an actor/actress 'face' or 'play-by.'
.) Role-players who are inactive for six months or longer without a legitimate excuse may lose their character(s). Please heed this warning.
.) Only Disney characters and some very specific exceptions are allowed to be played here. Please refer to the “Acceptable Characters” list.
.) Characters from a media that has yet to be released may not be played here, because you must be very familiar with the media. For example, no character from Disney's Reboot Ralph can be role-played here yet, because the movie has yet to be released and therefore no one here has watched it. This rule exists because all characters here must be played accurately and with good knowledge. Of course, you may for example reserve a character from an upcoming film at a reasonable time, and use said character after you've watched the character's appropriate movie.
.) No fan-made characters or personal accounts are allowed. This is not a public/normal message board.
.) You may advertise in the appropriate board. That board is open for every 'guest' to post.
.) No put downs or rude remarks, unless it's a character referring to another character in role-play. Insults directed to role-players is forbidden. If you have a problem with anyone, take it outside of the forum (and instead use PMs, e-mail, etc.)
.) Do not "powerplay." No character is completely invulnerable. It’s understandable that superheroes and supervillains will likely be powerful and hard to subdue, but every character must be balanced.
.) Do not take over a different character's actions, unless you are the character in another account or if you gain permission from the character's role-player. Also known as "godmodding," this practice is tremendously rude and a pet peeve of everybody.
.) No killing of another role-player's character is allowed, unless you have arranged with the player to kill off the character. Always ask permission first!
.) When in a thread with numerous amount of role-players, please be courteous and wait for everyone to get a chance to post. No one should be left behind.
.) No character doubles. For example, no young/old/different versions of the same character. For example, Arthur from Gargoyles or Merlin from A Kid in King Arthur's Court are not allowed in Dream League, because other versions of the characters are currently active. If, however, you would like to use a doppelganger or duplicate of a character for a specific plot, talk it over with appropriate role-players. Again, asking for permission is key!
.) How long should a post be? Six sentences at the very least, but please strive for two paragraphs minimum. One-liners will not be accepted. When we say six sentences, we mean six sentences! Doing. Something. Like. This. Doesn't. Count.
.) Make individual accounts for all your characters.
.) If your character has an alias, that should be the display name. If the character does not have an alias, then the character’s name will suffice.
Madam Mim: “Rule 17.) No make-believe things like, oh… pink dragons and stuff!”
.) Don't double post. Double posting in out of character and character profile threads is one thing, but there's absolutely no reason to reply to your own post. The Edit button is a handy tool for going back to posts that require... well, editing!
.) Out of Character (OOC:) comments in role-play posts are prohibited. If you have an out of character question or comment, make them through private messages or an out of character category.
.) If you already passed the test in Fantasmic Kingdom, you don't have to take the test again for The Dream League. And if you haven't taken the test in FK because you're not a member there, then you may send your test as a private message to one of the admins, and we will judge it from there.
.) Characters may fall in love with characters outside of their canon. However, characters may not break canon to be homosexual, or otherwise be completely unreasonable. For example, Aurora should not and will not have a romantic relationship with Bongo.
.) Avatars should be 100 pixels by 100 pixels. You are free to use smaller dimensions, but please don't make the avatars any larger.
.) When creating Encyclopedia Profiles for your character, please put the name of your characters first in the title, before you add any word such as "The" and other official titles. For example, instead of "Police Chief O'Hara" it should be "O'Hara, Police Chief." Instead of "The Masked Mallard" it should be "Masked Mallard, The." This is to categorize the characters alphabetically; this way, it makes it much easier to surf through profiles and look for a specific character in mind.
.) Signature images must be of a reasonable size compared to the site's template. If the image is too large, admins will notify the offenders.
.) By joining Dream League, you agree that the admins have the right to intervene if your character's integrity is compromised. The admins also have the right to intervene in any way necessary to maintain peace and order.
