Got a piece of trivia about your character? Has anything inspired your ideas, plots, and creations? If so, we'd love to hear it! Everyone, feel free to post your trivia in this thread. Dream League General Trivia- The Dream League is actually a reboot of a short-lived RPG forum from 2006. That forum, and by extension its team of heroes, was called "The Star Wishers." While there are some similarities between the two RPGs, the differences are greater in number and substance.
- The Star Wishers was inspired by the Freedom Force computer games.
- The default color scheme of the Dream League (purple, yellow, and navy) is the same color scheme of the Star Wishers. That's why the skin is called "Classic (Star Wishers, 2006)."
- It's very obvious, but the Dream League--both name and concept--is inspired by the Justice League of America.
- A suggested title for the team's name was 'The Heroes of D.I.S.N.E.Y.'
- Interest in creating the Dream League started with a dream I had. I dreamed of the Star Wishers in a movie trailer, with the narrator proudly announced the return of Disney heroes. After I had the dream, I told Heffy about my desire to go back to the idea and give it another shot. He answered, "Why don't you?" That's how the Dream League kicked off fully.
- Although the Dream League is a spin-off of Fantasmic Kingdom, the two RPGs take place in completely different realities.
- Heffy came up with the name Epcot City.
- Calisota is not made up; it is a real concept from Disney comics. According to many comic book authors, Calisota is from the top of California down to San Francisco. If this is true, then I live in Calisota!
- The Dream League's PG-13 rating was decided by Heffy and me very early in development.
- Although The Dream League and The Star Wishers have similarities, they also have many differences. The Star Wishers generally tamer and cornier. There was an endearingly hokey narrator (the admin account), the primary location was Toontown, and the setup was different. While The Star Wishers also had meteorites as a major plot element, the formation of the heroes was because of Duck Avenger, Jiminy Cricket, and Amelia from (Treasure Planet), quite different from the Dream League's formation.

Dreamchild Trivia- Dreamchild was a character in The Star Wishers, with the same alias, costume, and powers. Of all of Joseph's characters who were previously in Star Wishers, she is the most virtually unchanged character. The biggest differences between Star Wishers' Dreamchild and Dream League's are her origin and motivation. In The Star Wishers, Dreamchild's origin and motivation were melancholy; her family was kidnapped by the Beagle Boys, and she, after obtaining her powers, set out to find her family.
- As I worked on the Dream League concept, I struggled to think of a good reason why Alice was in Epcot City and not with her family. Moony suggested that Alice should be in a prestigious boarding school in Epcot City, and I agreed.
- St. Blair Academy, the boarding school Alice attends, is named after the late artist, Mary Blair.
- Dreamchild is named after a motion picture about Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) and the real Alice Hargreaves-Liddell. Coincidentally, the fifth installment of the original A Nightmare on Elm Street film series, was subtitled The Dream Child, and the heroine of that movie is named Alice. This, however, was completely coincidental and not realized until after Dreamchild's creation.
- When I created Dreamchild, I did not base her off of any one Marvel or DC Comics character. She was predominately inspired by Mentor from the Freedom Force games, and Razputin from Psychonauts. However, Dreamchild has been likened to "a toned-down Jean Grey." I, too, have found myself basing Dreamchild on Phoenix as of late.
- Dreamchild's blue and white costume is the same color scheme of the classic Disney Alice's wardrobe.
- Alice's name in the Dream League universe, Alice Pleasance Liddell, is named after the 'real Alice.'
- Dreamchild's costume was designed by myself and Amanda, back in 2006.
- Dreamchild's mask was complimented by the owner of the Vintage Disney Alice in Wonderland blog, Matt, who appeared in a supplemental feature as "an Alice authority," in the latest DVD edition of Disney's animated film.
- In Star Wishers, Duck Avenger (then known as PK) was considered my main character. In the Dream League, I consider Dreamchild my main character.
- Duck Avenger's nickname for Dreamchild is DC. This nickname is a double entendre; not only does it mean "Dreamchild," it's also an obvious reference to DC Comics.

Have some pointless and probably not very interesting trivia about Bongo's Dream League persona! - Deciding on having Bongo appear as a superhero in this spinoff was, honestly, unprecedented and mostly out of impulse. I liked the idea of pulling a rather obscure and forgotten character (but not to the extent that nobody would recognize or remember them) out of the Disney canon for use in a superhero setting, so I mentally flipped through all the different films and shorts and whatnot. Bongo came up, and for one reason or another, the image of Bongo being a "miniature tank" sort of hero in DL quickly formed. It appealed to me, so I decided to stick with it.
- In case some of you are confused about how Lulubelle, Bongo's love interest in the cartoon short, fits into all this - this is an alternate universe where the two bears either never met, or Lulubelle simply doesn't exist. If they had met in this universe, Bongo certainly wouldn't leave her to join the Dream League. Whether or not Lumpjaw, the hulking antagonist of the story, exists is still up for debate.
- Bongo's costume never really did stray far from his original appearance in Fun and Fancy Free. At one point, however, a small red cape was considered to be tacked onto his outfit.
- Bongo's unicycle, as shown in his signature banner, did appear in the original cartoon, but the idea of having it be portable and able to change shape (as seen in Blotted Truth) was mine... and, admittedly, pulled out of my ass to make it easier for him to use it whenever he needed.
- I won't spoil too much, but in a certain thread planned for the future, the Dream League will enter an alternate universe where they clash with their evil counterparts, the Nightmare League. Bongo's counterpart will be unique in that he's actually drawn from an entirely different Disney character - that's all I'll say for now, however.

Masked Mallard trivia- Scrooge's Dream League identity is of course based on the superhero identity of the same name he created in the DuckTales episode "The Masked Mallard." However, his Dream League costume is far less garish then the the original.
- The Dream League-version of Masked Mallard was inspired by old pulp heroes such as the Green Hornet and the Shadow.
- With Joseph's input, I ultimately decided to give the Masked Mallard superpowers so that he could stand apart from the League's other two duck heroes, Duck Avenger and Darkwing Duck. His luck power was inspired by his Number One Dime, which is the first coin Scrooge ever earned and is believed by some to actually bring him good luck (the comics vary as to whether or not it actually is lucky though). His secondary powers of great strength and durability stem from watching how he dives into all the money he keeps in his Money Bin and swims through it (seriously, how does the guy not end up bruised and battered after doing that?).
- In the Italian comics, Scrooge also has a crimefighter identity, known as either Top Hat or the Masked Topper depending on the translation. He still suffers from having to wear silly costumes however, lol.
- Like Tony Stark and the Avengers, Scrooge financially backs the Dream League (he's one of the wealthiest team members, so why shouldn't he?). He was the one to purchase their headquarters and the property it's located on.
- The Masked Mallard thinks of himself as being one of the leaders of the Dream League, much like his nephew does.

Duck Avenger Trivia- Duck Avenger is an actual character. He is an Italian invention (more pointless trivia: Disney comics are wildly popular in Italy). In Italy, his name is Paperinik; Paperino is Donald Duck's Italian name, and since the character is a slight parody of Diabolik, Paperinik was made the alter ego's name. At least, I think; it's been a while since I read Paperinik's history, so I may be rusty.
- Duck Avenger appeared in Star Wishers (2006), but he was wildly different. He was named PK, and he was superpowered.
- In the Dream League, the character's name was changed to his officially recognized United States name today (Duck Avenger), and he lost his superpowers.
- I base the Dream League's Duck Avenger on Batman, more than any other character.
- In the United Kingdom, the character's name is Superduck.
- There are different canons/storylines of Duck Avenger in Italian comics. After the original comics, there was the much lauded PKNA (Paperinik New Adventures), where the character's origin was changed, he was given a spectacular arm-gun weapon, and many new characters were introduced. I'll repeat, PKNA is just one of Duck Avenger's series of comics.
- Duck Avenger and the Masked Topper (Scrooge McDuck's alter ego in Italy) have appeared together in some issues. I happen to have one of them (translated, of course).
- Although the Dream League does not have an official leader, Duck Avenger likes to act as a leader.

Care for some trivia on Savage? He has a clipping. XD - I had always wanted to include Dr. Doppler in Dream League. I had toyed around with making him a super-genius, but the appeal of having someone like him as the Dreamer's resident Hulk-wannabe was just too fun to pass up.
- Savage was going to be called Mad Dog before I ultimately went with Savage. Joseph jokingly thought he should be dubbed "Rabies".
- While Savage is largely based on the Incredible Hulk (more specifically the "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" incarnation), I also draw inspiration from Dr. Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde from The League Of Extraordinary Gentleman.
- Savage's appearance in his hulked-out form is based on popular conceptions of werewolves. As Doppler is based on a dog, it made sense to me (plus, the Hulk looks nothing like Banner, and I don't think Doppler and Savage should resemble each other either).
- Concerning Captain Amelia, Jim Hawkins, and co., this is all set in an alternate universe where they and Delbert haven't (or have yet to) cross paths, or they don't exist.
though I think it would be cool if someone took up some other Treasure Planet characters, hint hint
- Initially, my plan was to have Delbert be involved with Powermouse's origins and then be bought in, but that fell through for one reason or another. Though all things considered, I'm glad I never went through with the idea.
- Power-wise, Savage is not going to be as stupidly powerful as the Hulk is for the sake of RPing and storytelling purposes.
